The Hunt for the End Portal

Finding a stronghold in Bedrock Edition is a unique experience. While Java Edition limits strongholds to specific rings, Bedrock generation is more random, meaning a stronghold could be right beneath your spawn point or 10,000 blocks away.

The 'Village Submerged' Trick

In Bedrock, strongholds have a high probability of generating directly beneath a Village. If your Eye of Ender leads you toward a village, look for a well or a specific house basement — the stronghold entrance might be right there.

Navigating on Controller or Touch

Strongholds are dark and filled with Silverfish. For console and mobile players, we recommend using 'Gamma' settings or simple torches to mark your path. Always bring a shield, as skeletons in narrow Bedrock corridors can quickly end a run.
