Ocean Monuments are massive prismarine structures found deep in the ocean. They are the only place to find Wet Sponges and the elusive Elder Guardians, who will inflict 'Mining Fatigue' on you as soon as you swim near.

How to Survive Underwater

Conquering a monument is impossible without Water Breathing and Night Vision potions. If you don't have potions, bring a stack of doors! Placed on the floor, they create a 2-block air pocket where you can reset your breath meter.

The Golden Heart

Deep inside the monument's central core is a block of dark prismarine containing 8 blocks of solid gold. Don't leave without it, as it's the primary reward for your maritime struggle.
