Woodland Mansions are the rarest and largest structures in the Overworld. Home to Evokers and Vindicators, they are a massive challenge for even the most geared-up players.

Hunting for Totems of Undying

Evokers are the only source of the Totem of Undying. Defeated them is the only way to get a 'second life' in Hardcore mode. Be careful of the Vexes they summon—they can fly through walls and hunt you down anywhere in the mansion.

The Secret Obsidian Room

Mansions contain dozens of variations of rooms. Look for the secret rooms hidden behind walls! Some contain a giant head of a cat made of obsidian, with a block of solid diamond hidden deep inside.
